It was as early as the beginning of the '90s that the winery started to grow. The father who started the winery had an excellent flair for selecting the best plots of the whole wine region: the parcels are dispersed among Badacsony, Csobánc, Gulács, and the Köves mountain. These plots form the backbone of the winery and have now expanded to 30 hectares. All of them have the highest quality ranking, which means a perfect area for vineyard and vine plantation.
The cellar is located in Badacsony (one of the biggest volcanic hills around lake Balaton), the vineyards are spread across the best-situated slopes of the hills and mountains surrounding the Káli Basin which is often referred to as the Hungarian Toscana.
The portfolio comprises mostly white wines (except one rosé) from the light-bodied varieties to the more complex, terroir-specific wines. The wines have PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) and PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) labels.
Concerning the sales activity, they focus on selective distribution: the volume-maker easy-to-drink wines would go and are available in the major international supermarket chains, but currently only in Hungary, while the more expensive, premium ones are intended to be sold in the HoReCa sector and specialty wine stores.
From this year on the winery would like to go abroad with its quality dry white wines. They are looking for reliable distribution partners worldwide who would represent as a commercial agent or resell the wines as distributors abroad. Distributors or commercial agents with connections to the HoReCa sector or to beverage retail stores are preferred.
