The Greek SME has a broad range of agriculture activities. The company founded in 2010, with seed production and cereal trading being its main activity. Since 2017, they have started operating in the fertilizer business, with a wide range of foliar fertilizers for all crops that can be put on throughout the entire cultivation period. More specifically, the Greek SME is involved mainly in three product categories in the field of agriculture with seeds, foliar fertilizers and fodder plants.
With respect to seeds, the company is offering various varieties of cereals (hard wheat, soft wheat, barley, triticale, oats, rye), legumes (vetch, vicia faba, lupin, fodder pea), sunflower and corn.
As regards the foliar fertilizers, the company produces seventeen different types of fertilizers with advanced composition which will increase efficiency and improve plant health. They are concentrated using very high grade technical elements and have been designed to be applied in a wide range of gardening applications.
Within the line of products for animal feed, the company is offering a variety of different fodder plants such as sorghum, lolium, alfalfa, setaria italica, pennisetum glaucum, clover, pearl millet, foxtail millet, festuca, sulla, festololium.
Τhe company owns exclusivity rights to produce in Greece certain selections of hard and soft wheat, vetch, triticale, forage pea and forage bean. At national level, the company is into partnership with two research agricultural institutes for the development of collective actions respecting conservation of genetic resources, propagation of rare and endangered species and local varieties, plant breeding, plant protection and crop development.
In 2014, the company started its first exports to foreign countries and since then they co-operate regularly with Cyprus, Italy and Germany. Over the years, the company has established international partnerships with some of the world’s largest seed production and trading companies, strengthening its position in the agricultural business field. The company recently signed a collaboration with the largest producer and distributor of beer in Greece for the procurement of wheat and barley. A broad range of similar collaborations have led to the requirement to improve and optimize their equipment and now the company owns and utilizes a contemporary seed cleaning machine as well as a seed coating machine.
The company is currently looking for new partners in order to penetrate new abroad markets. Under this context, they are looking for commercial agents and distributors in European countries willing to import and distribute the described products within their domestic markets. The desired types of collaboration are commercial agency agreement and distribution services agreement.
