A Greek inventor has developed a toilet for dogs, suitable for indoor use with automatic operation. The dog toilet is consisted of the following parts: main tank, metallic louvers, a rotation mechanism, a pipe system for water inflow, a spraying mechanism, a chemical waste container, a timer and photocells. Moreover, there is a specific place where dried solid waste can be left so as the pet is attracted by the smell to use the toilet. Otherwise, the dog is trained to use the toilet by the pet owner.
As soon as the dog steps on the toilet, the overall system is activated due to the photocells and put on hold. Each separate function is activated in sequence and in suitable time periods with a timer. After the use of the toilet, the rotation mechanism of the louvers begins to function. The waste are removed to the chemical waste container by the rotating louvers and the spraying mechanism which provides water. The spraying mechanism is also used to clean the louvers and the main tank. When a single cycle of operation is complete, the system/toilet is ready to be used again.
The pet toilet holds a patent from the Greek/Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation. The Greek inventor is interested in a license agreement with interested parties.
