The Hungarian company was founded in 1999 and currently employs over 30 mechanical engineers. They consist of four divisions: engineering support, engineering services, research and development and stamping. The company aims to provide partners with not just simulation results, but engineering advices to improve their designs and justify them to various standards.
The company is involved in international R&D projects such as ITER (prototype fusion reactor) and IFMIF-DONES (materials irradiation facility) and do several highly complex simulations and engineering design for their industrial partners. They have been recently involved in engineering fields of prototype fusion reactors, materials irradiation facility, robotics, telescopic lifts, agricultural industry, automotive industry and so on.
The company has been involved in cooling design and structural justification of plasma facing first wall heat shields in ITER, though assessment of cooling performance, cyclic, elasto-plastic behaviour of the components under the thermal and mechanical loads.
The company offers mechanical and simulation engineering services in the fields of:
1. Fluid dynamic simulations (CFD)
- Simulation of incompressible fluids in steady state and transient state
- Single and multiphase flows
- Thermal transport in liquids and solids (CHT)
- Natural flows and radiation
- Programming in OpenFOAM
2. Mechanical and thermal simulations
- Structural simulations (various types of assemblies)
- Linear and non-linear problems (material non-linearity, contact problems, handling of large deformations)
- Dynamic simulations (harmonic analysis, response spectrum analysis, random excitation simulation, modal-based and direct transient studies, handling of non-linear cases: implicit, explicit)
- Fatigue tests (for welded structures)
- Constant and transient, linear and non-linear heat transfer and coupled thermo-mechanical simulations.
3. Simulation of coupled physical systems:
- 1D Thermal and flow simulations
- Rigid-Body dynamics
- Multiphysics
The company is looking to expand and diversify its current partner base to be able to apply its expertise in other areas of the industry.
They are looking for partners in the fields of complex simulations and international R&D projects through subcontracting, outsourcing agreements or even joint venture agreements (consortia) in Europe. They are open to join consortia to in the proposal phase and then partake and utilize their expertise in R&D grants or tenders. The company has been assisting its industrial partners during their product development phase with mechanical engineering services and simulations and are looking forward to extending their base of partners through subcontracting or outsourcing agreements for solving specific mechanical engineering challenges.
