Based in Louvain-la-Neuve, close to Brussels in Belgium, the SME provides IT services in the field of custom software development (specialized web platforms, technical mobile applications, etc.) and advanced analysis ("data science" and artificial intelligence).
The company was founded in 2012, by three PhD's in physics, with a first solution, still currently used, that allows students to carry out a range of physics experiments on their computer screen, rather than in the laboratory.
Today, the company develops and implements tailor-made application software, according to the expressed needs, in Belgium and abroad.
The company uses the most innovative Open Source technologies coupled with agile methodologies which allow them to deliver high-quality service in a short amount of time. They have widened their expertise to multiple areas (health, sciences, education, HR management, transport, finance, industry, etc.). Also, they have already thought, designed, and developed new software solutions with universities and multinational companies. The company is well known for its experience. For example, they were invited to CERN as a speaker alongside Google and Amazon.
The main feature of all projects concerns the intellectual property. Indeed, the company does not own the intellectual property of the products/solutions they develop.
Concretely, the company offers two main services:
1. Software development
The company is able to develop complicated software in a limited time to answer specific problems, all sectors combined. This ranges from designing a risk assessment platform for a pharmaceutical company to designing an energy consumption simulation device.
2. Data science
The analytics expertise of the company includes R&D, Advanced Statistics and Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Big Data.
A full overview of all capabilities and used technologies can be provided after receiving the expression of interest.
The Belgian SME is looking for:
1. Research cooperation agreement
The potential partner should plan to start researching a new solution or technology and looks for a partner before starting the project.
2. Technical cooperation agreement
The potential partner has already started developing an innovative product/solution and needs a tailor-made technology to be developed to be able to continue.
It's expected a solution/technology co-development between both partners. The Belgian company would bring the expertise described before, while the other partner should provide all needed technical and conceptual information and be the tester.
