A Macedonian producer of building materials is offering an innovative insulating material with enhanced properties. The material is a water-based liquid composition characterised by low thermal conductivity and specific weight, usable in temperature ranges from -60 to +170 degrees Celsius and possessing improved water- and soundproof properties. The company is looking for manufacturers of building materials interested in commercial agreement with technical assistance.



Established in 1991, the Macedonian company is specialised in manufacturing of building materials. Its portfolio includes a variety of stone-made materials (stone veneers, wallpapers, carpets, floorings, and similar), and insulation and fireproof materials made by using dedicated nano-technologies. The company’s engineers and experts work continuously on developing new and technologically improved materials in line with the clients’ and legislation’ demands.

The company offers a thermo-liquid insulating material with enhanced properties. The material represents a water-based composition consisted of synthetic rubber, acrylic polymer and inorganic pigments, with embedded ceramic vacuum and empty silicone microspheres into its structure. This specific combination makes the material light and flexible. Moreover, due to the “hollow” structure, it possesses excellent soundproof properties that make it suitable for use in buildings. The material is also water repellent and thus prevents corrosion and condensation of the substrate. In addition, only thin layers from 0,5 to 1,5 mm are sufficient to secure the necessary insulating properties thus reducing the overall weight and load on the substrate.

The material possesses such adhesive characteristics that enable its application on surfaces of any shape and composition. It can be applied to metal, plastic, glass, concrete, brick and other industrial and construction materials. The process of application is simple and virtually identical to the process of applying tinted colours. In its basic form the material is white but may be tinted or re-painted in any colour without losing the insulating properties. The material’s durability is more than 10 years when applied outdoors to more than 25 years when used indoors. The material causes no harmful effects on the environment or substrate. When exposed to open flame it does not burn. Instead, it detaches and fails from the substrate, emitting no toxic substances.

The material can be used for variety of purposes: as thermo façade for buildings and industrial facilities, for thermo-insulation of coolers and cold storages, as insulator for thermal installations, for anti-corrosion insulation in tanks and reservoirs, and anti-condensation in cooling systems. The company is interested in exploiting the overall potential of the material through enhanced internationalisation. In this respect, SMEs involved in manufacturing of building materials are sought for long term cooperation under the terms of commercial agreement with technical assistance.
