An Irish based SME specialising in core platform technology for non-contact ultra-low volume, ultra-high accuracy acoustic dispensing of liquids. This platform technology brings new features, benefits and possibilities to applications where precision low volume liquid dispensing is required. The technology uses inexpensive disposable polymer dispensing cartridges, which eliminate the possibility of cross-contamination, remove the need for washing out the dispenser system and allow for a quick change over between liquids.
Potential applications include: creation of serial dilutions for the calibration of scientific instruments; preparing reagents for assays; dispensing / printing living cells; printing bio-probes; printing microarrays; printing microneedles; printing nano-materials; dispensing adhesives; dispensing bacteria; printing radioactive materials; etc.
The SME has focused on revolutionising the way bio-materials, adhesives, inks and other liquids are printed and dispensed. The versatile technology combats challenges such as cross-contamination, dispenser clogging, wastage due to minimum usable volumes, system complexity, and cost, through the use of simple disposable dispensing cartridges.
Suitable licensing agreements are preferable on a continental or worldwide basis to include original equipment manufacturer (OEM) integration, manufacturing and commercial distribution of the dispensing systems. Technical assistance and or training is available. Within Europe, suitable commercial distribution agreements are required on a country by country basis to maximise product sales.
