Currently, in order to prepare a bowl of pasta, it is necessary to use a saucepan, a colander and a cooker.
It has been known for some time that the process of making a bowl of pasta needs a person to fill a saucepan with water, put the saucepan on the cooker, switch on the cooker, wait until the water reaches boiling point, put the pasta in the saucepan, stir the contents of the saucepan, wait for the appropriate cooking time and finally drain the pasta through a colander.
Nowadays people have less and less free time and time to spend on household chores such as a person who lives alone and comes home after a day of work. In this case, the time available to prepare a meal can be very little. The same person may be tired or in a hurry, unable to cook or very hungry.
In order to overcome these issues, the Italian company has developed an appliance to cook pasta automatically. It is equipped with a cooker, a boiler, a basket, a motor and an electronic board.
The appliance is previously filled with water and uncooked pasta and when a signal is sent to the apparatus, will start the steps of boiling the water, immersing the pasta into the water, stirring the pasta and draining the pasta after the correct amount of time, all without human intervention. The command to start the preparation of the bowl of pasta can be sent by smartphone, another electrical device or directly by the electrical household appliance. The aim is achieved according to the invention by means of an appliance made up of a base compartment, a cooker, a boiler, a basket and means which move the basket, in different positions with respect to the boiler, comprising at least one motor, an electronic board and generic motion transmission elements. The basket is characterised in that by rotating it can adopt various positions by which it performs the functions needed to hold the pasta before starting the process, partially cover the boiler to reduce the dispersion of energy, immerse the pasta, stir and drain it. With the aim of stirring the pasta, the basket has slots on the bottom and on part of the walls and the boiler has blades attached to the bottom positioned so as to penetrate the basket through said slots during its rotation.
The main advantage of the invention consists in obtaining a bowl of pasta without the need for a person following each step.
A further advantageous aspect of the invention is that by using a communication network, the appliance can be started remotely in order to coordinate the timing based on the time of arrival at home, which often depends on various situations such as traffic, unexpected events, etc...
