An Italian inventor has recently granted a utility model patent for a brand-new covering device for shoulder bra straps by means of specific bra hooks.
Taking into account the solutions already on the market that can be used in case of particular no-shoulder dresses or clothing (e.g. strapless bra or silicon bra straps), the inventor, located in Lombardy region, has developed her idea aimed at finding an easy way to cover every type of shoulder bra strap combining comfort and aesthetic aspects.
The covering device can be applied to every type of bra straps with a put on/take off gesture in order to hide the original bra straps and, at the same time, accessorise the selected outfit. It is a cheaper way of customizing the same bra instead of buying new ones for specific dresses. It is also possible to have more options for the same model of bra.
The user fixes the covering device on her bra straps through specific fastenings on the backside and on the frontside of each strap: it is adaptable at the bra length and width. The fastenings and the bands help the firmness of the device.
The inventor seeks collaboration with fashion and textile companies interested in producing and commercialising it through license agreements. She’s interested in finding companies able to industrialise, produce and then commercialise the product in return for royalties. She’s is also available for demonstration and co-designing the final product.
