A Japanese household articles' manufacturer specialized in shopping trolleys is seeking trade partners and distributors in the EU.
This Japanese company has been selling more than 350,000 shopping trolleys in Japan, which means they occupy a considerable market share. They have a long experience in this market, which allows them to integrate many years of customers’ feedback in the development process. Therefore, the products provide, as a standard, many useful customer friendly features such as insulation function, high capacity of storage, outside pockets with and without zips and removable wheels. Features that may only be partially found in other trolleys available on the market.
Moreover, the company offers many kinds of shopping trolleys with the below-mentioned unique and remarkable features based on customers’ viewpoints:
- Integration of a solar panel to charge a battery
- Integrated chair with high load capacity
Two layers inside the bag: stuff can be stored separately
- Two ways of use: carrying with wheels and carrying as a backpack or a tote bag
- Hooks that can be hung on a shopping cart in super market (depending on the size of the shopping cart): Increasing mobility during shopping
The trolley passed severe safety tests in laboratory, and the chair did not show any signs of problems after more than 5 hours loading 130 kg on it. No problems with its stopper either after 4,000 times-pulling with 20 kg loading and 100 kg on the chair.
The layered bag allows to store the stuff separately and arrange the purchases neatly such as heavy stuff is not mixed with fragile items.
The products are fashion-consciously designed and stand out against the typical shopping trolley.
Currently, the company’s main targeted customer is middle aged women, however the company would like to explore new marketed targets as well.
The company is aiming to achieve a distribution or commercial agreement with a relevant EU partner able to support the company expansion overseas towards other promising markets than Japan. The possibility to conclude an exclusivity contract with the partner can be considered.
