Crops treated with conventional products generate food with chemical residues that may be harmful to the health of any consumer. Sometimes the established safety limits are not respected by the producers and this may have a very negative impact for humans, insects and other animals and plants. Furthermore, these bad practices contribute to the destruction of the biodiversity and the environment.
Because of that, the regulatory authorities are restricting day by day the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides and there is an urgent need of searching new solutions applicable in agriculture to old and new menaces.
The use of natural raw materials, together with botanicals extracts and minerals for the production of fertilizers, bio-pesticides and bio-fungicides products, provide efficient solutions to all these challenges and allow growers get the solutions they need accomplishing with the regulatory biddings.
A Spanish company has developed bio-stimulant solutions from plant and mineral extracts that allow the practice of a completely residue-free agriculture. They cover all the steps of the growing process from sowing or planting to harvesting providing in each step the required product for an optimus evaluation of the plant.
They research, develop and manufacture new natural fertilizers, biopesticides and biofungicides based on plants and minerals extracts, with the technology developed. They work together with the farmers listening to their needs and problems, in order to tackle new projects to develop the required products. They also provide technical advice regarding the use of their products in organic and/or chemical residue free agriculture, which respect the environment and allow farmers to produce their crops at competitive prices avoiding the use or the excess of chemical pesticides.
Until now the solutions they have developed can be applied to different growing stages and to solve different problems in the crops:
- Crop nutrition, including rooting compounds, amino acids and deficiency correctors
- Plants resistance to problems arising from excess of moisture
- Plants resistance to pests and diseases
- Microorganisms, mixtures of metabolites derived from microbial fermentation, that have demonstrated efficacy in hydric stress soils
Currently the company is looking for, on the one hand, partners with specific needs to develop together new solutions for environment-friendly products and, on the other hand, companies or other organization interested in searching together ideas for R&D projects and new developments. Research cooperation and/or technical cooperation are envisaged.
