The Korean company is specialized in developing/manufacturing plasma arc and automated welding machines. It aims to develop its mechanized/ automated welding technology to achieve reduction of cost, shortening of delivery time, improvement of quality.
PAW (plasma arc welding) is an arc welding process similar to GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding) or TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding. The electric arc is formed between the electrode and the working area, and is made of special machined tungsten. The main difference of PAW is that electrodes can be placed inside the body to separate the plasma arc from the shielded gas membrane. The plasma then contracts through a well-exhausted copper nozzle and the plasma exits from orifice at a high speed which is close to sound velocity, and reaches a temperature at 20,000°C.
Regarding to plasma arc automatic orbital welder, it is similar to traditional orbital welding devices except for welding head parts. By keyhole's full penetration and surface tension, it is possible to form a two-sided bead. Besides, through real-time welding monitoring, the welding process's stability and welding quality can be checked and ensured. The welding speed is significantly faster than traditional TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding techniques. It is much more effective and efficient.
The company now is looking for distribution partners to offer its new welding series which is an advancement of its plasma welding technology (both selling and rental services are available). The new series has been proceeded in many manufacturing projects, including special alloy pipe strainer, welded pipes, pressurized tank, scrubber and so on.
