A company from northwestern Poland operates in the electronics sector and specialises in the production of communication equipment. In their professional activities, they combine engineering knowledge with interest in acoustics and concern for public safety and security. The firm is also active in the local community, participates in various scientific projects and educational initiatives.
The firm has developed and is offering its own Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) system. Such systems are an essential feature of all modern public buildings. In regular (non-emergency) situations, they are used for playing music and broadcasting advertisements. In crises, they allow informing about the danger and effectively control the evacuation process. The offered system consists of:
- master control unit with a microphone, a built-in speaker and LCD screen;
- call station with programmable buttons and microphone (either push-to-talk or one on a gooseneck stem);
- intercoms;
- amplifiers;
- fibre optic module;
- speakers;
- and a power supply unit.
The whole system is scalable and constructed so that a person in charge of the operation (e.g. firefighter, policeman) can connect and use his/her own microphone. The system is certified and conforms with the norm DIN EN 54-16:2008.
The firm is interested in broadening and diversifying its client base. Therefore, they are looking for distributors that would help them enter new markets. The role of a partner will be to promote and distribute the solution through his channels, install it and provide technical support to the local clients. The firm will provide partners with the solution (including all the necessary devices), teach how to install and use it. If required by a client, the firm will also customise it.
