A Slovenian start-up company that specialises in the recycling of waste materials has developed bicycle bags made out of discarded bicycle inner tubes. Bags come in various shapes and sizes and are suitable for all types of bicycles. Bags are equipped with velcro strips or leather straps, which allow an easy attachment on any kind of bicycle. The company now seeks to establish new distribution services agreements.

A Slovenian start-up company, established in 2014 specializes in the reusing of discarded bicycle inner tubes and transforming them into new bicycle equipment. The idea of recycling and a more efficient use of waste materials is thus the central message of the company.
They have produced a wide range of bicycle bags, primarily intended for commuters, urban cyclists, fixed gear, mountain bikers and cross riders and the like on their day-to-day travels. All bags are suitable for other types of bicycles as well. Bags vary according to dimension and different bicycle inner tube proportion and are constructed from discarded bicycle inner tubes, waterproof materials, leather and/or reflective straps and enable attachment to any type of bicycle with velcro strips or leather straps. They feature enough room to store valuables or tools on everyday travels.
All bags are handmade and are currently being produced in Slovenia. All materials are purchased in Italy, with the exception of bicycle inner tubes, which are reclaimed from various bicycle stores and/or repair shops across Slovenia.
Reclaimed waste materials are sorted, then cleaned and cut in order to be used for sewing. Inner tubes are then combined with fabric. Zipper pulls and leather or reflective straps are added in the end to add a more refined look.
The special manufacturing process prevents inner tubes from perishing anytime soon and also considerably prolongs their lifespan.
Company spent 2 years planning, optimizing and improving their bags in terms of durability, fixation and looks. They have limited themselves to using only high quality materials, making sure consumers are getting their money's worth.
Due to strong demand they plan on expanding their range of products. Other company products – bicycle locks, bells and pumps – are currently under development.
Company seeks professional distributors who could help the brand emerge on other markets as well as provide after-sales support services to consumers. Distributors should operate in the cycling industry and/or general sports sector or specialize in cycling business and be able to promote company eco-friendly products.
