The Slovenian company is a member of an international group and is a market leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of a private label and branded engineered technical socks used for sports, active leisure and specialist markets. The group also holds a number of distribution agreements for international sporting and leisurewear brands within, and in some cases outside, Europe and owns a retail operation in Poland. The group’s strong market performance is proven by consistent growth year after year.
Apart from the classical hosiery business, the company also develops socks for people with specific health-related challenges. In terms of their registered trademark they developed four types of special socks:
Diabetic socks are developed specifically for people with diabetes and use the advanced, own developed, technology, which can increase blood flow and oxygenation in one’s feet, resulting in contribution to cell nourishment and tissue regeneration. They also feature flat toe seams to avoid friction and irritation, are non-binding and exceptionally comfortable. They help keep one’s feet warm and contain the antimicrobial technology to maintain freshness.
2. Oxygenated Compression
Oxygenated Compression socks are developed specifically for people who stand or sit for long periods of time, for everyday wear. The socks feature a unique combination of light compression (not too tight and not too loose) and the highly-advanced technology, which can increase blood flow and oxygenation in one’s feet. Using them as all-day everyday socks can improve the well-being of office workers, frequent travellers, and sportsmen such as golfers. They also contain antimicrobial technology to maintain freshness.
3. Ankle Support
Ankle Support socks are developed specifically to aid ankles during walking or sports activities. In addition to the unique way of knitting and arch support, they integrate the advanced technology, which can increase blood flow and oxygenation in one’s feet. Flat toe seam is used to avoid friction and irritation. They also contain antimicrobial technology to maintain freshness.
Amputee socks are developed specifically to provide comfortable everyday wear for people with amputated limbs. They can be worn on healed amputated limbs (and not on prosthesis). The Slovenian company is therefore looking for distribution agreements with partners selling to the hospital sector, or alternatively via medical equipment outlets, who could help the brand emerge on others markets as well.
