Slovenian road tunnel automation solution provider is looking for distributors and system integrators under distribution services agreements

A Slovenian hi-tech company is specialized in tunnel system integration, tunnel automation and tunnel control centers that are connected to regional/state traffic control center. They have over 20 years of experience in complex road tunnel automation projects. They are a group of creative and experienced experts aiming to produce reliable intelligent traffic systems (ITS) equipment and to co-create and implement novelties in the field of road traffic automation. The company is technological leader in highway and urban traffic automation in Slovenia. They have been participating in all important national road traffic automation projects in the past 20 years.

To ensure uninterrupted and safe tunnel traffic all systems and devices are conformed to the latest European standards and directives. Tunnel systems are: video surveillance and detection system, vehicle height monitoring system, emergency call system, carbon monoxide and visibility measuring system, ventilation system, fire-alarm system, anti-burglary protection system, radio communication system, public address system, low and high voltage control system, uninterruptible power supply system, tunnel illumination system and drainage system.

All systems act autonomously and independently of each other. Each system becomes fully functional only by its integration in the control and supervision system which encompasses all tunnel subsystems and devices and controls them according to pre-programmed processes or algorithms, depending on tunnel conditions. Control and supervision system contains of two management levels: central and local. Central control is represented by devices in the control center, while local control is represented by microprocessor controllers - local stations installed in the tunnel. Communications between all the devices in the computers and individual local stations system runs through Ethernet, TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol).
