A Slovenian company, specialized in IoT software development, is offering a smartphone platform with ready made modules for quick testing and prototyping of sensor solutions.
The platform saves time and resources for the development teams in cases when:
- developers would like to quickly test and prove feasibility of new project ideas or. product features, e.g. during the proof of concept phase;
- projects do not allow for long and costly development of a specific application prototype;
- there is a need to agile product development and rapid delivery.

The application modules are compatible to many sensors and actuators which are available on the market. More than 100 different Bluetooth, ZigBee, WiFi, Cloud based and internal smartphone sensors and beacons with 295 different sensor readings are currently supported (Arduino, Bosch, EntraHealth, MbientLab, Polar, Ruu.vi, SensorTag, Shimmer research, Xiaomi, Zephyr…).
Sensor data is combined to virtual sensors, for example: simple distance calculation from GPS, more complicated ECG feature extraction algorithm, activity recognition... Virtual sensors can be interactive (a query from other sensor data) or an extension (user developed). Virtual sensor acts like any other sensor: can be shown on dashboard, stored into database, sent to a server or used to make more complicated virtual sensors – similar like LEGO blocks.
Control one device from another is possible by using different messaging protocols (Text, e-mail, MQ Telemetry Transport).
Various triggers like HeartRate is more than x, Message accepted, Nr. of Phone calls during last hour is less then y. can put the application into actions such as place a call, send a Text message or e-mail, turn on additional sensor, turn light on, send a signal to microcontroller, start a program on microcontroller and other. The application helps to connect more than 20 different Bluetooth, WiFi and Web actuators and internal actions.
The Slovenian company is looking for industrial companies, academic and R&D institutions, developing IoT applications in the areas, such as smart cities, home automation, Industry 4.0., logistics and transport, healthcare, research and education. The Slovenian company offers the platform and its expertise to quickly use the platform in the development project under commercial agreement under technical assistance.
The company is also offering collaboration as a reliable partner in international development and research projects in programs such as Horizon 2020, under research cooperation agreement.
