The Austrian company develops, manufactures and markets high-grade systems made from ductile cast iron for the transport of water. Furthermore, they manufacture general-purpose pile systems for deep-foundation engineering.
The company identified an information gap within their casting production process. In particular they are lacking to exchange information between single production steps. To enhance the process efficiency they are looking for non-verbal communication solutions in extreme industrial environmental conditions.
Traditional communication solutions (telephone, tablets, ...) are inadequate, as they are not user-friendly for use in industrial environments or become defective within a very short time due to heavy soiling.
They are looking for partners that can offer a communication solution to ensure an exchange of status information of the process along the production line. The information exchange has to be bi-directional and in real time. The offered solution could be a human to human or machine to human interaction.
The Austrian company is open to any type of solution (from concept stage to products already on the market). Cooperation with industrial partners would be in frame of a technical cooperation agreement or commercial agreement with technical assistance.
