This UK manufacturer, established in 2006, is a privately owned company specialising in the development and supply of life enhancing healthcare solutions for patients following ostomy surgery. It also has a division producing veterinary skin protection products.

Leakage, skin irritation, discomfort and lack of security are amongst the most common problems associated with traditional ostomy care products, which typically used hydrocolloid technology. The UK company has worked to develop a new and advanced silicone technology medical adhesive, which offers many benefits over other medical adhesive and ostomy devices including conventional silicone gels (used across wound care) which do not allow the skin to breathe.

The company’s new silicone technology based materials provide a much better seal, don’t absorb wastes (that cause irritation) and are far easier to remove, without sticking to the skin. The product range includes silicone-based seals, gels, skin barriers and adhesive removers, as well as gelling and odour control sachets.
