A Czech SME, a joint-stock company operating a recycling line and at the same time providing consultancy services aimed at the selection of appropriate recycling technologies is offering ecological and cost-effective disposal and recycling of used beveraga cans (UBCs). The company is looking for long-term suppliers of UBCs from Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland who need to dispose of UBCs in a cost-effective way for closing a services agreement.
The Czech SME was established by experienced specialists in the field of recycling. It operates a recycling line for used beverage cans, sells high-tech systems for the recycling industry and at the same time provides turnkey consultancy service directed at the selection of appropriate recycling technologies and their configuration to fit for purpose at the recycling site.
As regards the recycling service the company is focused on used beverage cans (UBCs) that are ecologically recycled in the Czech Republic. It purchases sorted Al cans as well as unsorted mixtures of Al cans and Fe cans, and also mixtures including impurities (PET, other plastics, paper, etc.). Cans can either be compressed on a paper press (see enclosed photo) or in bulk, but not pressed firmly into cubes. The company picks up the sorted UBCs in the countries where the waste originates at its own expense. After sorting the UBCs in the Czech Republic the company provides its clients a protocol on takeover containing an analysis stating the content of Al, Fe and impurities in the batch. Based on the protocol price of the service is calculated. The smallest volume of waste is 1 truck, i.e. 75 packs made on a paper press or approximately 14 tons of waste in bulk.
Reliable long-term suppliers of UBCs from Germany, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland are looked for as partners for closing a services agreement.
This type of agreement covers the intended collaboration with companies collecting and sorting UBCs such as municipal waste management companies, collective systems for packaging etc. A long term commitment is perceived as a flexible mutually beneficial business relationship.
- long-term experience in the area of recycling
- ecological services where Al and Fe is obtained in the form of a crushed matter
- cost of the service is based on the real content of Al and Fe gained from the waste
- transportation costs included in the cost of the service
Industry, non-profit organisations
- Companies collecting and sorting UBCs like municipal waste management companies, collective systems for packaging etc.
- Non-profit organisation founded for the purposes of operating and managing a collective system.
Role of the partner sought: the partner is supposed to collect the sorted used cans at one place and prepare them for pick up by the Czech company.
