Innovation: the new bio-leather is a nano-cellulose product that looks like leather obtained by the fermentation of bacterial cultures. Differently from other products in the category it is a growing material that is enriched with bio ink made by enzyme or microorganisms to obtain new functions that come from living cells and not from electronical devices. It is completely bio and capacitive. The product can be produced in tanks into vertical factories, with low cost materials.The product can be applied to several end-markets, such as fashion and sports clothing; furniture and generally design; bio-leather industry; IT products and e-paper segment.
The company has already developed a prototype; at present it is in face of stabilization phase and testing new properties by the deposition of bio inks.
