A Belgian company offers unique white line marking paint and machinery for application on football fields. They are looking for sales intermediaries in many European countries. The cooperation can be based on a distribution services agreement or a franchise agency agreement.
The Belgian company is a key player in the distribution of all kind of soccer equipment. They have 70% of the Benelux market and supply to customers in France, Spain, Italy, the UK and Ireland, mostly to soccer clubs (among others Atletico Madrid, Manchester City, Club Bruges, Ajax FC), municipalities and schools. They have a wide and qualitative network in European football. They are official supplier of many European federations, FIFA, UEFA, Premier League UK, Serie A Italy, Primera Division Spain and many more. The company has their own installation service in Belgium, the Netherlands and the North of France for goalposts, ball stopping nets, fences, dug outs and so on. They organize regularly workshops, referee trainings and all kinds of promotional events for football supplies. The line marking products and vanishing sprays are produced in their own manufacturing plant.
The line marking paints differ from other paints on the market by the absence of any deposits. Most paints need to be shaken up before use to get clots out of it. With this paint no stirring is required. The Belgian company places a cylindrical tank of 500 liter paint at the customer's premises. This is enough for the marking of three football fields during one year. The application of the paint on the grass is done under high pressure (40 bar), which means that the paint is atomized rather than sprayed, resulting in a better spread (better lines), a faster drying, less consumption of the paint and less downtime of the application machinery through blockages. The content of the tanks is continuously measured using sonar and can be read remotely on a smartphone. Both the customer and the supplier thus have complete control over consumption. They are also informed when the tank needs to be refilled.
For their line marking paint division the Belgian supplier is currently looking for additional technical-commercial partners able to serve previously unreached potential customers. Up to now they did only direct sales, but it is not realistic to continue this way. They need partners who could be distributors of sport supplies, but also lawn maintenance contractors with a regular need to mark the lines on a number of football pitches, or franchisees willing to build up a business in the region, but with fully marketing and technical support from the Belgian company for a successful start and growth.
- Top quality result in term of plenitude, whiteness and colorfastness;
- No sedimentation, thus time gaining and user-friendly application;
- Very low overall cost pro year compared to any other processes on the market;
- Availability of a robot for fully automatic field line application on football pitches.
Potential business partners could be gardening companies, working for municipal authorities and private clubs, who regularly have to mark football pitches together with the maintenance and fertilization of the lawns. These contractors could profit from the highly optimized line marking process offered by the Belgian company.
In other regions and countries interested, business partners will rather be distributors of sport equipment with a focus on football, selling line marking supplies to soccer clubs, but looking for new approaches. The Belgian company is open to consider private label production for them if they ask for it.
A third category of partners could be franchisees working according to the same business model as the Belgian franchisor, but for an agreed and well-defined region. This person should have a wide network in football and good communicative skills. In return he will be supported marketing wise, as for the website, logistics, stock, premises and facilities. In the beginning, the investment for the franchisee will remain very limited, so he can concentrate on sales and new customers. This will allow him to develop a flourishing business in a short time.
