A Belgian SME, involved in a wide range of distribution activities, is looking for European producers and distributors offering scraps of aluminum, copper and carton box in bulk volumes.
The Belgian distribution company, established two years ago, is engaged in bulk volume trading of different kind of products. They deal i.e. with textile, fabrics, garments, clothing, eco-friendly products and food health supplements. They have a large number of customers in European and non-EU countries. They engage in the full supply chain process from raw material to end product and allow their customers to get access to all the products and services of their group.
They now want to expand their portfolio with reusable waste because they have experienced there is a huge market for this abroad. At this time they want to buy scraps of aluminum, copper and carton box in bulk volume for industrial purpose in order to reuse them in other production processes. The scraps of aluminum and aluminum alloys are used to make ingots for castings and as co-components for aluminum products. The scraps of copper are used to make copper wire and recycled copper products. The scraps of carton are used to make new boxes of carton or carton boards. The scraps come from industrial companies that sometimes recycle them by themselves, but often also re-sell the scraps in bulk form to wholesalers or traders. Many scrap dealers are looking for export markets in and scrap buyers outside Europe. They could be interesting partners for the Belgian company.
The cooperation form will be based on a distribution services agreement.
The partner sought could be European manufacturing companies or distributors operating in the recycling industry. They are dealing with scraps and should be aware of certification and regulations. All materials offered should be SGS certificated as well as certificated for the export custom clearance. Aluminum, copper and cardboard are transported in bulk containers.
Prospective partners could be European producers processing aluminum, copper or cardboard offering leavings of their manufacturing processes.
It could also be distributors involved in the scrap business in Europe for a long time (minimum 5-10 years). They should be aware of the certification and export rules.
Once there is an agreement on the price and the quality of the scraps, the Belgian company is prepared to engage in a long term distribution contract for monthly bulk volume purchases.
