A Spanish ICT company is looking for partners to join a proposal to the call H2020-SC1-HCC-03-2018 “Support to further development of international cooperation in digital transformation of health and care”.It aims to develop a collaborative cross-border ecosystem to exchange ICT knowledge in the area of AHA (active health aging).The partners sought must hold expertise in the AHA sector: public universities, R&D institutes, ICT developers, policy makers/agencies and related stakeholders.
Population ageing has shifted the distribution of country’s population towards older ages. The OECD has stablished that the population of those over 65 years old reached 17,8% in 2010 and it is expected it will climb to 25,1% by 2050. ‘Aging in place’ is one of the main desires of ageing citizens around the world, however the risks of age related impairments such as health worsening, long-standing chronic conditions, cognitive impairment, strength decrease, hearing and vision loses and social exclusion, have negative consequences for their independence and daily life, affecting also those who take care of them.
There is an increasing global interest in addressing this problem using digital services and solutions. ICT offers new opportunities to improve the aging process in the areas of health, social and education. This major role of ICT in the global health arena, brings the opportunity to define new strategies that can address this global challenge of active health aging (AHA). To embrace this challenge, it is important to bring together the different international key stakeholders to outline its future impact and optimum approaches.
To that aim, the objective of this project (H2020-SC1-HCC-03-2018 “Support to further development of international cooperation in digital transformation of health and care”) is to build a collaborative cross-border ecosystem to exchange ICT knowledge in the area of active health aging (AHA), hosting international workshops to identify the relevant existing and emerging initiatives. Encouraging the cooperation among the international stakeholders in the field with working meetings organized between the European and International authorities on research an innovation ICT for AHA, and disseminating the project’s results internationally, enhancing the European competitiveness by reaching to new future markets.
The Spanish company leading this project is specialized in ICT engineering projects (big data, network management, cloud computing, IoT, AI or data analytics) for different sectors including health. The company is strongly committed to R&D, having great background in European programs such as FP6, FP7 or H2020, and several H2020 ongoing projects.
To build the collaborative cross-border ecosystem, the different partners sought for this project are:

•Providers of ICT-based services and products related to active health ageing.
