The company is seeking strategic partners and project collaborations through licence, technical or research cooperation agreements.

The company has developed a novel technology which turns waste biomass into a decentralized source of combined heat, power and value-added commodities e.g. biochar smokeless fuel briquettes.
This technology is designed to handle a much wider range of feedstocks than the conventional gasifier technologies currently on the market.
By processing high volumes of cheap, abundant waste materials, the technology will be able to provide clean-carbon neutral heat and power at a very competitive unit cost per kWh.
- The company was incorporated in May 2017 and within one year it successfully tested its proof of concept.

In terms of unit cost per kWh of electricity small hydro is the cheapest on the market and petrol generators are the most expensive. However, neither of these technologies converts waste into electricity. AD-biogas does convert some waste materials into electricity but AD requires large volumes of water.
This containerised waste to energy technology has the key advantage of converting a wide range of waste materials whilst delivering electricity for less than $0.10/kWh.
The technology has three unique selling points which address provision of electricity access in off-grid locations:
- Each 100kW unit provides containerised power generation that is quick & easy to deploy.
- The technology is feedstock flexible and can use all types of agricultural and manufacturing waste.
- In addition to electricity, it produces commodities that can either be sold in local markets, or exported to generate foreign exchange.
The prototype will be used to test a wide range of feedstocks. The data from these trials will inform the technical scale-up and business case of the commercial equipment.
The patent application process is due to conclude in June 2020. The company expects to be granted a patent in 30 EU and non-EU countries.
The company is seeking to partner with industrial companies and research organisations active in multiple sectors, with the following areas of particular interest:
a) Plastic waste handlers, recyclers and reprocessors;
b) Packaging manufacturers; plastic product manufacturers;
c) Anaerobic digestion operators; fermented beverage manufacturers;
e) Food manufacturers.
