University, located in Ukraine, Odessa has developed a solar energy concentrator, which is based on Frenel mirrors. It can be used as a block of solar energy stations for getting electricity and heating various objects (e.g. water) and for other purposes in technological processes of various types of production.
University can propose development of innovation in cooperation, license for manufacturing or search of factories for organizing manufacturing.
Ukrainian University is looking for partnership / investments to bring this innovation to the market and start to sell it to customers, energy companies and countries.
The solar-energy concentrator, based on the Frenel mirrors, is a monolithic construction, in which availability and cost of materials are combine. This construction provides mechanical strength and maintains its geometric and optical parameters for the entire lifetime. The maximum reception of solar radiation for a given geographical latitude is provided, the angle of the sun at the height of 50 degrees is overlapped, which provides a fairly large period of active work of the station at any time of the year.
The solar-energy concentrator based on the Frenel mirrors can be used as a solar power plant unit for getting electricity and heating various objects (water, for example) and for other purposes in the technological processes of various types of industries. For example, sand for making glass.

Readiness state of development
Blocks of the solar power station of the modular type are manufactured and installed. The module is a developed and unified solar radiation concentrator based on the Frenel mirrors. Concentrator passed state testing works as a block on the Ashgabat solar energy station of 10 kW.

The manufacturing method, technical and economic characteristics of the solar energy concentrator based on Frenel mirrors make it competitive in the global market for similar products.
It is easy to start produce, install and use, but the key advantage of technology is that it’s multifunctional. Partner can add various kinds of components to the concentrator to obtain the desired result, such as:
1. Heat water 40 times more effective than simple solar collectors;
2. Heat different objects, which need heating in production process;
3. Collect electricity by adding stirling engine, peltier elements, steam engine.
The concentrator has undergone state trials and works as a unit at Ashgabat solar energy station with an output of 10kWh.
Also university is building new pilot project now due to appearing of new materials and progress in technologies.
