The European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, in collaboration with Smart Transylvania, the Romanian Cluster Association and North-West Regional Development Agency, are jointly organizing the Clusters Meet Regions conference and matchmaking event on 1-2 July 2025 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Themed as “Clusters: Drivers for Technology Transfer”, the conference will focus on the pivotal role of clusters in driving technology transfer and innovation within SMEs, and their broader impact on regional development, digitalization, sustainability, and interregional collaboration.
The conference will highlight the strategic contributions of clusters to technology transfer and business driven innovation in fields such as agri-food, wood & furniture, ICT, renewable energy, and creative industries.
A particular emphasis will be put on the international and interregional cooperation. SMEs, clusters, academic and research institutions, public authorities, industry leaders industry, and other European innovation actors are invited to discover the business, research and technology cooperation opportunities in a dedicated matchmaking event, organized on 2nd July 2025 afternoon with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network.
