Description
Handwerk International Baden-Württemberg organizes together with HANDWERK BW and the Ministry for Economy, Labor and Tourism of the State of Baden-Württemberg a delegation trip to Copenhagen and Malmø from May, 21st to 23rd 2025. Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut MdL, Minister for Economy, Labor and Tourism of the State of Baden-Württemberg and Mr. Rainer Reichhold, President of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Skilled Crafts, will accompany the company mission. We will visit exciting projects and companies from various sectors with a view to sustainability, green transformation and innovation, find out about the Danish und Swedish market and discuss issues related to skilled crafts and European policy.
With the support of the EEN partner from Copenhagen and Zeeland in Denmark and the Swedish EEN partner in Malmo the participants will have various opportunities to meet potential exchange partners from Denmark and Sweden during evening events and network lunches.
As nordic neighbours, Denmark and Sweden offer an exciting insight into the green transformation and thus also provide excellent opportunities for Baden-Württemberg's skilled trades to contribute their strengths. However, entering the market in these two countries is also associated with hurdles, be it bureaucratic hurdles such as access to the construction site requires a special identification card and other order processing requirements, as well as general cultural differences in the world of work and language barriers. The trip will feature numerous speakers and experts who will be able to provide companies with first-hand information on how to recognize and master these challenges in advance.
