Description
In the coming years, the German region of Saxony-Anhalt and the capital Magdeburg will undergo a huge investment by the American multinational corporation and technology company Intel. It is the biggest investment in Germany since WWII.
This investment will influence all spheres of life, especially local enterprises. Furthermore, the investment will also be a chance for adjacent subregions and enterprises. There will be opportunities of co-operating either directly or as subcontractors.
The current company mission is being organised for enterprises and institutions in the Harz district, which neighbours the city of Magdeburg. The Harz district and enterprises there want to learn more about how the Irish region of Kildare dealt and still is dealing with Intel in Ireland. The company mission is a closed shop for participants from the Harz district.
Meetings with regional institutions and enterprises in Kildare, organised together with the Irish EEN partners, will open an exchange of information and knowledge. The company mission will be a beginning of co-operations between enterprises from Ireland and Saxony-Anhalt.
