Description
The EU-Japan Centre is pleased to announce the second session of its training on Japanese business culture for 2024.
Organized yearly since 1987, the 2-week “Get Ready for Japan” aims to comprehensively understand Japanese business practices and communication styles and identify opportunities for successful business partnerships.
Additionally, the programme aims to provide insights into the decision-making process within Japanese companies, which will contribute to a better understanding of their negotiation style and hierarchy.
Finally, the programme intends to strengthen existing relationships with Japanese customers and establish new contacts with potential ones, thereby expanding the reach and impact of the business.
The training mission will include: lectures, workshops and B2B meetings opportunities.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE
Typical participants:
- managers and executives, from Small and Medium-sized Enterprises
- have a major role in defining and implementing their companies’ policies vis-à-vis Japan,
- are to be transferred to Japan,
- come from companies intending to supply Japanese companies,
- wish to learn about management practices and technological developments in Japan.
The mission is open to any kind of sector of activity.
COSTS
- The EU-Japan Centre will cover all the training fees: speakers' fees, room rental, transportation arranged for group activities, and interpreters.
- The participants' companies are expected to cover travel, accommodation and living expenses.
Please note: In order to ensure a high degree of personal attention, the number of participants in the programme is limited and therefore a selection process will be held between all the received candidatures by the deadline.
