Description
The mission is the result of a previous mission from Handwerkskammer Region Stuttgart and Handwerk International to Kosovo in 2023 visiting the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce as a part of the International general Fair Prishtina and he enterprise agency of prishtina region.

Now, the mission to Stuttgart is taking place. They are bringing companies working in the sector of metalworking, in the auomobile industry etc. The mission will take place from 11th to 13th September and will be structured into two main pillars:
- On the one hand, the delegation will be introduced to the Germany's dual system of vocational education and training which is highly recognized worldwide due to its combination of theory in the classroom and training in a real-life work environment. There will be a networking event on 11th of September…The main characteristic of the dual system is cooperation between mainly small and medium sized companies, on the one hand, and publicly funded vocational schools, on the other. Trainees in the dual system typically spend part of each week at a vocational school and the other part at a company, or they may spend longer periods at each place before alternating. The shared responsibility between government, employers and trade unions also helps in responding to emerging new challenges such as digital innovations like the Internet of Things which will have an increasing impact on manufacturing and the way work is organized. The German dual system offers an excellent approach to skill development, covering initial vocational education and training, further vocational education and training, careers, employability, occupational competence and identity. Thanks to the dual system, Germany enjoys low youth unemployment and high skill levels. The main aim is to let albanian companies better understanding how the Germany's dual system of vocational education and training operates in order to learn some best practices to be replicated and scaled in Kosovo. The Handwerkskammer Region Stuttgart is currently sending former learning materials from the Bildungsakademie to Kosovo in order to better equip the schools. Upskilling and reskilling is an emergent issue companies have to face in order to stay relevant and keep being competitive in their markets.
- On the other hand, the delegation will be visiting the AMB fair in Stuttgart. The trade fair occupies a top position among the professional trade fairs for metal working, and ranks among the world's top five events. The delegation receives a personalised tour of the trade fair tailored to their needs. Afterwards, they will have the opportunity to hold their own meetings at the trade fair and will be part of the trade fair's exhibitor meeting in the evening, which offers excellent networking opportunities.
