Description
On April 28, the Klaipėda Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts organized a business networking event with representatives from Chile. The event was held in cooperation with the Chilean export promotion agency ProChile, the international business and science magazine JŪRA-MEER-SEA, and with support from the EEN partners in Chile - the Eurochile Business Foundation. This was the second consecutive year the event was organized for companies operating in the fisheries sector.
Kataržyna Kazmierska, Director of the Directorate General for Export Promotion at ProChile, presented the Chilean export market. She highlighted Chile’s extensive 6,435 km coastline, its clean waters, and the rich variety of marine resources with excellent nutritional value. During the event, trends in the Chilean fish market were discussed, and B2B meetings were held with Chilean business representatives.
Four Lithuanian companies from the Klaipėda, Tauragė, Kaunas, and Raseiniai districts participated in the event. A total of eight individual business meetings were organized.
