Description
The Klaipeda Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Crafts, in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network partners in Iceland, is organizing a business mission to Kópavogur, coinciding with the 14th Icelandic Fisheries, Seafood & Aqua Exhibition (IceFish 2024). The event will focus on key sectors including shipbuilding, marine research and innovation, port technologies and cargo handling systems, electronics, navigation and communication technologies, packaging, freight transportation, refrigeration, and ship equipment.
The IceFish 2024 exhibition will be held in Kópavogur from September 18-20. As part of the event, the Sector Group Maritime Industries & Services of the Enterprise Europe Network Iceland, co-organized by Rannis, will host a matchmaking event on Thursday, September 19. The Lithuanian business delegation will participate in both the exhibition and matchmaking sessions, facilitating individual business meetings.
Additionally, in cooperation with Rannis and Enterprise Europe Network Iceland, a business meeting will take place at the Rannis offices. The preliminary agenda includes meetings with key organizations such as "The Icelandic Centre for Research – RANNIS," the "Federation of Industries," and "Business Iceland." This will provide companies with networking opportunities and insight into Enterprise Europe Network services.
The primary objective of this business mission is to foster cooperation between Icelandic and Lithuanian companies. Participants will also gain valuable insights into market entry strategies, local business practices, and cultural nuances.
