Description
On June 8-15, 2025, Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, in cooperation with the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Lithuania and Enterprise Europe Network partners in the USA, is organizing a business mission to Boston combining with participation in the annual North American-Lithuanian Business Forum (NALB).
The NALB Forum aims to promote trade and investment relations between Lithuania and the United States, Canada and Mexico, to bring together Lithuanian and North American business leaders and professionals to achieve mutually beneficial business projects and long-term cooperation.
During the NALB Forum in Boston, the main attention will be paid to the following business sectors: life sciences, IT, defense, creative industries, science, business and public sector cooperation. At the same time, participation is highly recommended for other business sectors that work or plan to work with the US market. The organizers pay great attention to networking, as well as to the educational program by organizing thematic seminars.
Boston is the capital of the US state of Massachusetts, with about 5 million residents living in the metropolitan area of the city, about 7 million in Massachusetts, and about 14-15 million within a 100-mile radius around Boston. It is the Silicon Valley on the East Coast of the USA, a large trade and finance, industry, culture and transport center and a port on the Atlantic Ocean. It has the largest concentration of R&D in the USA. The strongest sectors: AI, Fintech, Biotech, Cleantech, Gaming, Defense&Dual Use. Boston is a very significant educational center and the third largest center of venture capital funds in the USA (after San Francisco and New York). The most famous universities in the suburbs of Boston are Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
PROGRAM outline:
On June 9-10, training on entering the US market will be organized, success stories will be shared, on June 10th of June – the NALB networking event, which will allow to get to know other forum participants, on June 11th – the NALB Forum will be held at MIT Media Lab, in Cambridge, on June12-13th – individual meetings, industrial business missions (life sciences, agricultural industries, ICT) and cultural events are foreseen.

The North American-Lithuanian Business Forum initiative began with the 2019 event in Washington. In 2021, a virtual forum was organized, in 2022 it was held onsite in Philadelphia, in 2023 over 370 participants gathered for the business forum in Chicago, and over 300 participants in New York in 2024. The North American-Lithuanian Business Forum has become a brand of Lithuanian-US economic cooperation, an event that is receiving increasing attention and feedback from government institutions, and especially business representatives.
