The EU-Japan Centre is organising a nanotech mission to Japan on the fringes of the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference” (http://www.nanotechexpo.jp/).
This mission will allow EU SMEs and Clusters active in the nanotech sectors to exhibit in Japan and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

The EU-Japan Centre is currently calling for applications for its annual nanotech mission to Japan organized in the fringes of the “nano tech - International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference” (http://www.nanotechexpo.jp/).
This mission will allow EU SMEs and Clusters active in the nanotech sectors to exhibit in Japan and develop strategic worldwide partnerships and business cooperation.

TARGET PARTICIPANTS
EU SMEs and clusters active in sectors covered by the fair:
• Nanomaterials
• Nano Evaluation & Measurement
• Nano Fabrication Technology
OBJECTIVES
Through this mission participants will have the opportunity to:
- display their technology at one of Japan’s leading trade shows
- meet potential business partners
- create new business opportunities
- develop partnerships and business cooperation on global
- prepare the ground for practical cluster cooperation across borders and make a more strategic use of transnational cluster cooperation on markets outside Europe in areas of strategic interest (as a cluster)
COSTS & GRANT
- The EU-Japan Centre will cover participation fees to the trade fair, and the booth operational costs.
- The participants' companies are expected to cover travel, accommodation and living expenses.
The EU-Japan Centre will provide a 600€ grant to each selected participant to offset some of above costs.
Please note: the number of allowed participants is limited, therefore companies interested to the mission will have to fill in an application form and a selection process will take place to select the participating companies.
