Description
The ICA World Annual Event, organised in collaboration with the ICA World – International Consulting Alliance, is a great networking opportunity for the EEN Network, our clients and partners. The event brings together numerous ICA member organisations, guest partners, international and bilateral funding agencies, and other stakeholders in development cooperation. The aim is to engage with potential partners to explore concrete business opportunities on development projects worldwide, share best practices, tips and challenges and discuss trends in development cooperation. The core focus of the event will be on sustainability and innovation, including sustainable blue economy. The aim is that participants gain more business by integrating these principles in their project activities, in this way creating an enduring impact.
The event agenda is offering numerous networking opportunities and a diversified programme, namely:
- Dedicated panels with international and bilateral donors / funding agencies, who have been invited to offer strategic insights into current priorities and different approaches to investing on development aid projects in various regions worldwide. These discussions will highlight innovative strategies, with a particular focus on addressing sustainability in technical assistance projects.
- Speakers will add a 'touch of blue' by focusing on development cooperation in the blue economy sectors.
- Thematic workshops and targeted discussions to assess new trends and transdisciplinary approaches in the market, in different fields such as climate change, circular economy, gender, digitalisation, MEAL and sustainable finance.
- Multilateral talks with individual donors sharing experiences and practical guidelines for successfully accessing their funds.
- A session on internationalisation and accessing new markets, in collaboration with EEN-Malta, will explore strategies for expanding organisational activities globally.
- Bilateral and multilateral meetings (organised via our Networking Platform for one-to-one meetings and engagement in specific business opportunities), with the aim of developing new business opportunities and winning new projects together.
- Team-building and social activities.
