Description
EEN Japan innovates and is launching its very first mission targeting Smart Factory & Robotics sectors.
This mission is organised on the fringe of the “Factory Innovation Week” fair held in January 2025 in Tokyo, Japan. During this 3-day fair, selected participants will be able to exhibit in a joint booth under the EU-Japan Centre umbrella. (For more info about this fair https://www.fiweek.jp/hub/en-gb.html )
The mission will give EU SMEs and clusters the opportunity to enter the Japanese market or further develop their ongoing activities in the country, and establish technology or business partnerships and therefore increase their innovation capacity and make them more competitive on the global scale.

TARGET PARTICIPANTS
EU SMEs and clusters specialized in smart factories technologies and robotics:
• AI (e.g. Computer vision, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning…)
• IoRT
• Industrial Robots (e.g. Collaborative Robots, Articulated Robots, SCARA Robots, Delta Robots…)
• Components & Materials for Robots (e.g. electronic components, mechanical parts, sensors, actuators, and other necessary materials for creating and upkeep robots.)
• Smart Factory Equipment & Autonomous Transportation
• Remote Monitoring & Operation Support
• Sustainable Manufacturing Solutions
COSTS
- The EU-Japan Centre will cover participation fees to the trade fair, and the booth operational costs.
- The participants' companies are expected to cover travel, accommodation and living expenses.
Please note: the number of allowed participants is limited (12), therefore companies interested to the mission will have to fill in an application form and a selection process will take place to select the participating companies.
