TCCI is organizing the activities with the cooperation of the B-SEEN partner, KOSGEB Sinop.
The Georgian health system is a combination of public and private health services. The country has undertaken reforms to improve access and quality of health services. Despite these reforms, there are still problems with access to health services. Health services are provided through public hospitals, health centers, and clinics in Georgia. Primary health care is provided by family doctors and general practitioners. Specialists focus on more specific health problems. There are also private health institutions in Georgia. Private health services offer faster service delivery and specialized treatment options. However, their costs are higher than public health services.
There are deficiencies in health infrastructure and facilities in some regions of Georgia. Particularly in rural areas, accessing quality health services can be difficult. This leads to inequalities and variations in service quality. Public hospitals and health centers sometimes suffer from service quality problems. Low standards, lack of medical equipment, or staff shortages have a negative impact on patient satisfaction.
To sum up, the Georgian health system is characterized by various adversities. Infrastructure deficiencies, quality issues, staff shortages, and unequal access can make it difficult to deliver health services effectively. All these conditions make Türkiye attractive from a Georgian perspective.
15 companies from Tbilisi will join the activity and they will meet several companies from Black Sea Region. This event is a great opportunity for the Blacksea region to increase the health tourism capacity of the Black Sea region by increasing the number of Georgian tourists who are traveling to take medical services from Türkiye.
