Work visit NY Water Week - UN Water Conference (18-24 March 2023, New York)
The 'Water Innovation & Business' program is part of the NY Water Week event and will take place in the framework of 2023 UN Water Conference, which is the Conference for the Midterm Comprehensive Review of Implementation of the UN Decade for Action on Water and Sanitation (2018-2028). Over a 1000 organisations from world-wide will meet to develop the Water Action Agenda (cross-sectoral) which will lead to real impactful results through concrete actions and plans on the ground.
The 'Water Innovation & Business' program and work visit will focus on topic of Water Managenment (Flood Management, Resilient cities and Sustainability). It aims to bring together innovative leaders and entrepreneurs from the US, the Netherlands, and other countries in the water sector. The event includes the following activities:
- 2 Field visits & workshops with the city of New York on 21 March
- High-level plenary session and networking and Matchmaking reception on 22 March 2023
- EEN matchmaking sessions on 23 and 24 March 2023
- Optional participation in the NY Water Week program (18-24 March) developed in collaboration with the city of New York
