SOFIA TECH PARK JSC

STP is the first science and technology park in Bulgaria. It maintains continual collaboration with private and public institutions, universities, and business clusters. It creates and manages a unique innovation environment for SME growth and provides know-how, networking and new technologies in three focal areas - ICT, life sciences and clean energy. STP acts as a hub for global, regional and national researchers, innovative start-ups and mature companies in Bulgaria and on the Balkans. It’s a large-scale project consisting of 5 components: Laboratory complex (11 laboratories), Innovation Forum, Incubator, Museum Experimentarium and Sport center. It provides a working scientific infrastructure evaluated for BGN 50+ million in support of the Bulgarian innovative businesses. The innovative Incubator offers start-ups co-working open spaces where they can share knowledge, build peer-to-peer capacity, and turn ideas into successful business endeavors. The local ecosystem of STP functions by interconnecting knowledge, technologies, and people. It also facilitates access to financing, provides connections with investors, incl. for digital transformations, organizes conferences, B2B events, trainings and workshops, boot camps, E-Learning platform for training, mentoring and coaching. The Club House is a multifunctional space for formal and informal events that promotes business growth and cooperation beyond borders.
As a regional DIH it supports SMEs and start-ups in their digital transformation by building sustainable advantages to compete on the EU SM and international markets. STP operates as a one-stop-shop for the digital innovation ecosystem, through its facilities and expertise.
