ECONOMIC CHAMBER OF NORTH MACEDONIA

The Economic Chamber of North Macedonia (ECNM) it is oldest and largest chamber in North Macedonia, non-profit and non-governmental institution, main representative organization for the companies and one of the key stakeholders in the economic development in North Macedonia with 15 Branch associations, 10 Associations, 35 different groups within the chamber and 4 Regional chambers. The great impact made the Branch associations as the Agricultural-Food Processing Industry, Sustainable Construction and building materials, Metallurgy, Metal production and Energy, Trade and Transport, ICT - Informatics-Communication Technologies, Textile, and Tourism, with aim to have regular meetings in the chamber for approaching different problems related to their business including the legislation matters.

The Economic Chamber of North Macedonia is a member of the International Chamber of commerce in Paris; the Euro-chambers based in Brussels, the Association of the Balkan Chambers and with other European chambers.

The Economic Chamber of North Macedonia is also intermediator between company members and government for issues concerned businesses with specific sector.

As a long-term representative of the business community the Economic Chamber of Macedonia has been national coordinator and partner in several international and regional projects including EEN-Enterprise Europe Network, (Cosme program) since 2008.

The Chamber, continuously contributed for the development of the Macedonian economy, mostly with vocational training of its SME’s members.

The Economic Chamber of North Macedonia issues various documents for the needs of all the companies in the country (certificate of origin, ATA Carnets, recommendations, opinions) and confirms facts and documents aiming to facilitate the movement of goods, services and business.
