At the event, the Network will highlight the impact of its business support services for European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Four innovative companies benefiting from the Network’s expert advice and tailored support will join a global community of over 25,000 start-ups to exchange ideas and knowledge about emerging and disruptive trends in tech.
The Web Summit will gather over 70,000 attendees from more than 160 countries to discuss the biggest challenges and opportunities in technology, from AI and data science to environmental sustainability and cleantech. Participants include leading technology companies, start-up founders, investors, media, representatives of public institutions, policymakers and heads of state shaping the future of the global tech industry.
This year’s delegation of the Network’s SME ambassadors will feature four highly innovative companies:

Koala Tech (Portugal). This young start-up designs radio frequency transmitters to improve the energy efficiency and security of wireless communications systems in the public and military domains.

AlongRoute Data PC (Greece). The start-up uses revolutionary AI models to produce highly-accurate marine weather forecasts along vessel routes for a greener, safer and more cost-efficient shipping industry.

R3GIS Srl – Gmbh (Italy). With over 200 satisfied customers in more than 10 countries, the company develops web mapping and mobile applications to manage geospatial data and designs flexible solutions for the smart cities of the future.
