Description
The KIKK Festival, an international festival of creative and digital cultures, will be back in Namur from 26 to 29 October 2023 with a programme for professionals and the general public.
For four days, digital artists and companies and the general public will be coming together to exchange ideas, learn and network in a festive and creative setting. This unique international event in Belgium aims to bring together, inspire and highlight the most innovative projects through conferences, meetings, exhibitions and demonstrations. This festival has become a not-to-be-missed event, offering the chance to discover developments in a teeming, bubbling world, gain a better understanding of its codes and question its challenges.
This year's theme, "Bodies of Water", will provide an opportunity to explore the relationship between water and the phenomenon of life at the city-wide digital art exhibition, KIKK in Town.
The programme for professionals will focus on B2B and networking. Actors in digital culture, graphic artists, designers, artists, researchers and other creative people will have plenty of opportunities to get inspired, discover innovative projects and launch collaborations :
● Conferences : nearly 40 world-class speakers will be sharing their backgrounds, projects and thoughts on the latest trends in the sector with an audience of professionals. On the menu : innovation, AI, dataviz, creativity, design, XR, music tech branding, etc.
● KIKK Market (open to all from Thursday to Sunday - BtoB days on Thursday 26 and Friday 27) : in this demonstration and sales area, Belgian and international entrepreneurs will be showcasing their technological innovations. For the first time this year, the Market will be organised around 4 themes : Music Tech, Ed Tech/Kids Tech, Design and Extended Reality (XR/VR/AR).
● Workshops and masterclasses : during the day on Saturday 28, at TRAKK, various workshops will be offered to broaden your skills in a wide range of technologies and techniques (coding, AI, machine learning, XR/VR, data, etc.).
● KIKK Pro : the Creative Village, the heart of the Festival, will host a space dedicated to networking, as well as international pavilions highlighting the creative ecosystems of the most active countries in the digital culture sector.
● Networking app : a networking platform will enable you to get in touch easily with hundreds of professionals, investors and potential collaborators attending the festival.
● KIKK your career : recruiters from the creative industries and talents looking for collaboration or a job will benefit from a space for meetings and speed jobbing.
As every year, EEN Wallonia plays a key role in promoting B2B opportunities at the event. EEN Wallonia will be present to facilitate meetings and fruitful exchanges between companies, innovators and creatives. There will also be a bar, festive events and parties to keep the conversation going. The B2B application (Swapcard) will be available shortly, but in the meantime you can already visit the festival website: www.kikk.be
