Description
A selection of Spanish companies in the meat sector (slaughterhouses and meat processing companies) from the northern part of Spain (La Rioja) will visit Poland on May 23 and 24. Aim of the visit is to meet with Polish processing companies (slaughter houses in the porcine, bovine and poultry sector and meat processing), exchange best practice and discuss possible cooperation. Participation to the company mission is restricted to clients of the organiser.
In detail, the objectives are:
1. Exploring potential business partnerships. The visit could provide an opportunity to assess the capabilities of the Polish meat industry, and explore potential partnerships for mutual benefit.
2. Studying meat processing techniques: The visit could allow the Spanish meat companies to learn about the meat processing techniques and technologies employed in Poland. This knowledge could be applied to improve their own meat processing operations in Spain.
3. Exploring new markets and product possibilities: This could include understanding the consumer preferences, market trends, and demands for different types of meat products in Poland
4. Building relationships and networking: The visit could also serve as a networking opportunity for the Spanish meat companies to build relationships with Polish counterparts, exchange ideas and knowledge, and establish contacts for future collaborations. This could help in fostering long-term business relationships and expanding their professional networks in the meat industry.
5. Enhancing cultural understanding: Lastly, the visit could also serve as a cultural exchange, allowing the Spanish meat companies to gain a deeper understanding of the Polish meat industry, its practices, and cultural nuances. This could help in building trust and rapport with Polish counterparts, and facilitate smoother business interactions in the future.
Overall, the objectives and aims of a technical visit to slaughterhouses and meat industries in Poland by Spanish meat companies would be to explore business opportunities, learn about meat processing techniques, see food safety and quality standards, explore new markets, build relationships, and enhance cultural understanding, all with the goal of improving their own operations and expanding their business in the meat industry.
The companies to be visited are in several locations in Poland.
