General information
- Short Summary
- Expert in robotic manipulation and assemblies for miniaturized components with high accuracy, the French SME has been working for European companies since 2011. Its core business is the field of semi-conductors and micro-electronics. Thanks to the machines already developed, its customers now assemble millions of components with a micron-scale accuracy, on processes formerly managed through manual assembly. Cooperation is sought with watchmaking industry.
- Full Description
-
The French SME located close to Switzerland is an expert in robotic manipulation and assemblies for miniaturized components with high accuracy. Its customers now assemble millions of components with a micron-scale accuracy, on processes formerly managed through manual assembly.
With its high-precision technologies, the company is keen to collaborate with the watchmaking industry (manufacturers and equipment suppliers) and help it move towards automation of processes currently carried out manually.
The watchmaking industry is integrating ever-smaller components. Its development is constantly progressing (increased volumes, new materials, new technologies, etc.), and aims to be innovative.
In this sense, partners have an interest in understanding these new elements through feasibility studies, and in automating tasks to improve productivity.
The company is on the lookout for new challenges in the field of micro-assembly. It designs and develops flexible industrial production resources that can adapt to component variability, offering optimum changeover times. All development work begins with a feasibility study, using cobotics to identify solutions and limit risks at reasonable cost.
The company trains engineers and customer operators to master robotic devices and their processes, enabling them to be completely autonomous and as independent of the supplier as possible.
It is reactive and supports its customers by offering near-instantaneous assistance through remote connection to the machines.
Its precision assembly knowledge is based on:
- Manipulation of components down to 5 µm, thanks to different grippers (fully customizable and adaptable with sensors).
- Accuracy of assembly down to +/- 0,5 µm
- Development of robotic solutions for micro-assembly from small batches to mass production, easily upgradable thanks to the modularity of the systems, its flexible high-vision software and its experience developed since 2011. - Advantages and Innovations
-
- Ultra-High accuracy and repeatability in miniaturized products
- Reactivity of its team to bring fast and innovative solutions at anytime of the process or maintenance of the equipment
- Reliability, quality via measurements of each assembly (Industry 4.0, the user can find all data of a product anytime)
- Flexibility and modularity
- Robustness
- Training: the partner will be fully independent and know perfectly the equipment and the micro-manipulation at the end of the project
- Access to its know-how and its equipment to push forward innovation
