This Ukrainian company has over 7 years of experience in the metallurgic and metalwork area and has consolidated its market position in the manufacturing of babbit (brands B16 and B83) and surfacing wire.
Babbitt B-16 is a lead alloy, unlike tin alloy, it can be heated and operated for a long time. The chemical composition includes a certain amount of antimony, tin and copper. B16 babbit is characterized by increased plasticity at 100 ° C and low melting point (240-320 ° C). The maximum operating temperature reaches +110 ° C. Babbitt B-16 is widely used in bearings of electric locomotives, diesel locomotives and ships. Babbitt B-16 is also actively used in the production of low-speed diesel engines, crushers, rolling mills, ball mill bearings, steam turbines, water turbines, compressors, elevators, motors and generators.
Babbitt B-83 is the most demanded low-melting bearing alloy. The chemical composition is mainly determined by the content of tin (80.941-84.5%), antimony (10-12%) and copper (5.5-6.5%), but there are also small amounts of iron, lead, arsenic, aluminum, bismuth and zinc. This situation predetermines certain properties of the connection, gives it certain characteristics and influences the choice of the area of use. It is possible to use this grade of alloy for the manufacture of bearings that operate at medium loads and high speeds. These are bearings of stationary and marine steam engines, bearings of turbochargers, diesel engines of low turnover, turbines, compressors and other products.
The surfacing wire is used in the mechanized electric arc surfacing process. It is used to restore machine parts and mechanisms that have failed during operation; due to abrasion, shock loads, erosion, etc. The enterprise manufactures wire 30HGSA with a diameter of 0.8 to 6.0 mm. The wire is supplied in coils of 80 kg or on K300 spools of 15 kg (it's possible to supply in coils and spools under clients' request - size, weight).
