General information

Short Summary
The SME is a London based edtech company, active since 2016. Its web and video-based e-learning tool was developed to make marketing easy for HE students. The company seeks to expand into EU countries by licensing its internationally recognized blueprint. They have been producing relevant teaching material by using this methodology since 2016 for HE business students. The goal is to teach business studies in an easy and fun way, while students learn the current and industry-relevant knowledge.
Full Description
The innovative teaching product is a web and video-based e-learning tool, developed to make marketing easy to learn for university students, while teaching relevant material to them. The product idea was initiated by their founder based on her own observations as a marketing professor and fine-tuned according to the changing learning needs of today's students.
Subsequently they had a license agreement in the UK in 2018 for the global distribution of the collection across business schools worldwide. In total they have 40+ material in this collection as of May 2025. The project team consists of 7-8 people – video shooting, editing, voice artists, and social media experts.

The product was first designed for the internationally accepted Marketing curriculum, tested between 2014-2016 and commercialised in March 2016. It is a unique e-learning methodology based on reality learning and dilemma solving.

Furthermore, its blueprint was used to apply for an ERASMUS+ project with 4 European universities to replicate the same product idea for International Business (IB) and to test the product idea on a wider geography and a 3-year grant was obtained from the EU between 2018-2022. As a result of the ERASMUS+ project, a new e-learning tool was produced for IB curriculum by using the same blueprint developed by this company. This EU project received the 2023 Academy of International Business (AIB) Teaching and Innovation Special Interest Group’s Biannual Teaching Innovation Award as a further international endorsement of the product.

Therefore, the company is seeking funds and/or partners to expand this same methodology into other EU countries and other disciplines of business studies, by licensing its blueprint as the intellectual property holder of this internationally recognized e-learning methodology.

Professional background of Founder:
30+ years of marketing/ communications academician and practitioner – started advocating for changes in business studies teaching methodology back in 2014,
Also has industry experience for 30+ years, working in international companies’ marketing departments and in international advertising/ media agencies as Account Planner/ Research Man/ Media Man and Managing Director.
Advantages and Innovations
The e-learning tool brings a fresh look into business studies teaching and learning by incorporating real-life cases into the international accepted business studies curriculum. The tool aims to close the gap between businesses and universities. The whole idea is to teach students relevant theoretical frameworks with the help of real-life problems faced by today’s companies. And while doing this, the methodology incorporates company executives to make learning easier and fun, hence keeping the students engaged for longer periods.
The e-learning tool has been already developed in 2016 and tested in different markets and for two different disciplines of business studies – namely Marketing and International Business. Therefore, a plenty of experience has been gained regarding the product and any early-stage problems have already been resolved.
Technical Specification or Expertise Sought
The company is seeking potential partners from universities with Business Studies programs which are looking for innovative ways of teaching their students while inspiring their faculty members with new methods and skills. The faculty members will be able to create new teaching material by using this methodology. The company will be offering the transfer of knowledge exchange with additional support services given to faculty members while producing their own teaching materials.

Similarly, potential partners could be businesses which would like the problems they face in the real marketplace to be turned into teaching material for business schools. In this alternative, the company could also assist the businesses in turning their business problems into teaching materials for HE with the help of academicians.

The company will be offering a license agreement to potential partners. The intellectual property of the blueprint will remain with the company and the product name has been trademarked in the UK. However, the copyright of each teaching material will remain with the author of each material - it could be faculty members at universities or the academicians that the company works with.
