- Full Description
-
A Finnish SME is looking for a European SME specialised in AI and Machine Learning to apply for the next EUROSTARS funding call in September 2025.
WHAT DO WE WANT TO DO?
The Matchmaking AI Agent enables startups across Europe to run effective fundraising campaigns and successfully close investment rounds. It compares startups' fundraising data against investors' due diligence criteria, automatically matching them based on advanced filters such as round size, stage, technology, geography, and KPIs. The tool is an AI agent that also generates structured data rooms, country-specific investment agreements, pitch decks, and memos, while sending hyper-personalized introductions to investors and tracking engagement through a CRM system.
WHY DO WE WANT TO DO IT
Each year, around 6,000 early-stage investment rounds take place in Europe, supported by 400,000 business angels, VCs, and family offices that fund research, innovation, and startup growth. However, startups struggle to identify, connect and build relationships with the right investors, while investors face an overwhelming volume of unqualified deal flow. On average, investors screen 1,000 startups before making 1 single investment. The Matchmaking AI Agent streamlines this process by identifying and connecting the best matches, reducing the effort required for startups to secure funding while enabling investors to discover high-quality opportunities more efficiently.
HOW WILL WE MAKE MONEY
Matchmaking AI Agent generates revenue by charging fundraising startups a commission on each successful investment. This strategy ensures financial returns for the partners while aligning with the success of startups and the preferences of investors, accommodating a wide range of needs and budgets. In addition, we plan to introduce a freemium model to enhance accessibility further and attract a broader range of startups. This approach not only lowers the entry barrier but also allows startups to experience the value of our tool before committing to paid services. - Advantages and Innovations
-
Angel investing across Europe is a solitary and time consuming process. Business angels are screening promising startups through subscriptions to dedicated portals, attending startup events and using their own networks with one-to-one introductions. However, angels need more qualified leads from other countries than their own, better connection with likely minded angels and automation to help them save time and costs in their investments.
The platform will be a radically new and much-needed digital tool for portfolio management, through which angels could make cross-border investments online all over Europe with other angels. We will offer them easy international syndication, while contracts and full financial closing can be completed in minutes, with access to dealflow from across Europe. - Technical Specification or Expertise Sought
