General information

Short Summary
A Greek innovative SME that is located in Patras, is specialized in the production and sale of sustainable personal care products (natural cosmetics) derived from coffee by-products. The Greek SME is currently seeking partnerships with distributors operating in the retail, pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors, both across Europe and internationally.
Full Description
The Greek innovative cosmetics SME was founded in 2018 by two students from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Patras, Greece. Their vision was to offer upcycled products and effective personal care products with deep respect for the environment, through science-enabled waste management.

The Greek SME operates in the field of natural cosmetics, developing products based on espresso coffee residues as the core ingredient in its products. Embracing a circular production model, it collects used coffee grounds from partner cafes and transforms them into high-value raw materials. Its products are rich in antioxidants, cruelty-free, vegan and free of harmful chemicals. The company's production line includes a diverse range of products such as hand creams, body butters, shower gels, and facial sunscreens. These products are already available in pharmacies, retail outlets, and selected stores in Greece and abroad.

Moreover, the brand has been recognized for its innovation, notably receiving the “Top Innovative Coffee Product” award at the Coffee Business Awards 2024. Participation in international exhibitions, such as CoffeEast 2025 in Romania, has enhanced its visibility and opened new opportunities for collaboration with major retail chains and influencers.

The Greek SME is now seeking to expand its international footprint through commercial partnerships with distributors who share its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and refined aesthetics.
The ideal partnership will support entry into new markets, enhance brand recognition, and reach consumers seeking premium, eco-friendly personal care solutions.
Advantages and Innovations
The Greek innovative SME combines sustainability with scientific innovation, offering a line of natural cosmetics derived from recycled coffee by-products. Specializing in the extraction of active ingredients from coffee beans, the company creates antioxidant-rich products that are both clinically safe and effective for all skin types.

With established experience in both Greek and international markets, the Greek SME has developed an alternative distribution network that includes cafés, concept stores, pharmacies, and e-commerce platforms. As of now, its products are available in 74 retail locations, with projections to reach 200 stores by the end of 2025.

The company's products are easy to use, with pleasant textures and natural fragrances, and stand out from the competition thanks to their ecological profile, the uniqueness of the raw material and their aesthetics. The packaging is also environmentally friendly, reinforcing the brand image and consumer confidence.

The company is constantly investing in research and development (R&D), while thanks to its circular approach to production, there is the possibility of expanding the products to other markets such as spas, hotels, gift boxes and corporate gifts, offering flexibility to partners.
