- The Agricultural Research and Development Station’s main activities are research, development and consultancy in the field of improvement and recovery of salted soil and agricultural techniques. The Agricultural Research and Development Station has gained significant research experience applications, through the results obtained, making an important contribution to the development of agriculture in the area influence, as well as solving problems at national level: the design and operation of systems of irrigation, improvement and recovery of saline soils, technology of field and fodder crops, of rice varieties, conservative selection of varieties and hybrids, seed production from upper links, zoning of wheat, barley and triticale varieties, production of biostimulators and biofertilizers from agricultural residues and medicinal plants, research on the use of natural resources and the adaptation of modern technologies for increasing the quality of agricultural and horticultural products, research on the acclimatization of foreign horticultural species, environment protection and research in digitizing of agriculture.
